Harissa is a blend of hot chile peppers, garlic, coriander, and caraway seeds. Not overwhelmingly hot, adds a nice garlicky flavor. Traditionally, harissa would be mixed with oil to make a loose hot sauce to season couscous and tagines. Can also be used as a marinade for chicken or pork before roasting or grilling.
